Legendary and iconic Christian metal band Stryper, has released their new song and video clip "Sorry", which will be part of their next studio album, GOD DAMN EVIL! which will be released on April 20 under the label Frontiers Records.
Regarding the "God Damn Evil" album title, Michael Sweet said: "We thought long and hard about this title. It was actually considered quite a few years ago and it just didn't feel like the right time. Now, with all the evil in the world that we see around us on a daily basis, it made perfect sense. It's a very bold statement yet a prayer asking God to damn/condemn evil. Nothing more, nothing less."
About the song "Sorry" Michael Sweet said: - we couldn't be more pleased with how this one turned out! It's got swag, chunk, melody and a great message about how important integrity is in a relationship and how important trust is. You can't have a lasting relationship without the two.
The new four-minute video clip was produced, directed and edited by Jamie Brown in support of Sebastian Paquet and Anthony Cools. "Sorry" is now the 17th video clip in the whole trajectory of the band.
Perry did not play bass on STRYPER's new album due to scheduling constraints. The bass tracks on "God Damn Evil" were laid down by John O'Boyle, who played bass on Sweet's last two solo albums.
